Miles Waite, PhD, Senior Hydrogeologist
Miles Waite is the Owner and Senior Hydrogeologist. He has over twenty years of experience in the fields of environmental consulting and research. Miles’ consulting specialty is groundwater quality, but is also regularly involved with projects that involve soil quality, air quality, environmental cleanup and remediation, wastewater management, stormwater management, and hazardous waste management. Miles also has expertise in due diligence and landowner liability, and often works with developers, attorneys, and realtors on site assessments and Brownfield redevelopment projects.
Miles has a BA in Environmental Studies with a minor in Geology (1991) and a PhD in Geology (1998). Miles is a registered Professional Geologist (PG) in New Hampshire. He lives in Burlington, Vermont with his wife and three children.
Craig Heindel, CPG, Senior Hydrogeologist
Craig Heindel has more than thirty years of experience as Hydrogeologist and Project Manager in projects regarding wastewater disposal, solid waste disposal, water supply, aquifer and well analysis, groundwater flow and drainage, stormwater management, and erosion and sediment control. Craig has expertise in Vermont’s land use development and permitting, with a long history of expert testimony work.
Craig has a BA in Geology (1971) and a MS in Geology (1980). Craig is a Certified Professional Geologist (American Institute of Professional Geologists), and a registered Professional Geologist (PG) in New Hampshire. Craig lives in Ferrisburgh with his wife and likes to spend time with his two grown children.
Wendy Shellito, Project Scientist
Wendy Shellito has fourteen years of experience as Scientist and Project Manager in projects that involve groundwater quality, soil quality, air quality, environmental cleanup and remediation, and hazardous waste management. Her specialty has been Phase I ESAs, data management and analysis, field sampling, and GIS.
Wendy has a BA in Geography (1999). Wendy lives in Jericho with her dog Moko.
Christopher Page, Staff Scientist
Christopher Page has four years of experience in research and consulting. As Scientist, Chris assists and manages projects involving groundwater quality, soil quality, air quality, environmental cleanup and remediation, and hazardous waste management. With work experience and recent training in wetlands ecology and soil science, Chris also gets involved with wetlands assessment and plant inventories for permitting. Chris also has experience in indirect discharge and direct discharge/dewatering permitting.
Chris has an Honors BS in Environmental Science (2011) from the University of Vermont. Christopher lives in Winooski with his collection of acoustic and electric guitars. As a hobbyist musician, Chris spends ample time performing live with several Burlington-area groups as well as in select studio projects.
Chandler Noyes, Staff Geologist
Chandler Noyes is a recent graduate from the University of Vermont, with a BS in Geology (2015), and class work in other Environmental Sciences. Chandler is currently taking time before attending graduate school to work and garner practical field experience. As Staff Geologist, Chandler is involved in projects concerning groundwater quality, soil quality, air quality, and landfill monitoring. He assists in the generation of contour maps, management and analysis of data, writing of technical reports including Phase I and II ESA reports, and manages several ongoing projects.
Chandler currently lives in Burlington, where he enjoys gardening during the summer months, and skiing during the winter months. During his time off from school, Chandler is determining what his concentration will be, as he still has many interests in the realm of Environmental Sciences.
